Orange Testcars due next week!
Good news! We will finally receive the 1:43 2006 orange McLaren MP4/21 testcars of Kimi Raikkonen (DC26403T) and Juan Pablo Montoya (DC26404T) next week!
Minichamps’ new weekly release schedule came through today, and it was a nice surprise to see those two gems on it, as they hadn’t been on the original monthly release schedule. There was no mention of the 1:18 versions (DC2603T and DC2604T), but we’d better not get too greedy!
This will be my last entry until Tuesday 24th July, as I’m off to the Nurburgring for the European Grand Prix. Hopefully the demons will be exorcised from the last time I went there, in 2005. There I was, all ready to celebrate a Raikkonen win as he started the last lap in the lead, only for his suspension to shatter right in front of me at the first corner and for him to go pirouetting straight past the apex and off towards the French-German border! Definitely not my fondest memory!
