McLaren MP4/22 Nosecone Replica
Today Amalgam provided us with an image of their 1:12 2007 McLaren MP4/22 nosecone replica (Product Code - AML706). Their 1:12 nosecones and 1:4 steering wheels are proving ever more popular, and as Lewis Hamilton seems destined to take this year’s championship, it is sure to sell extremely well for us. We hope to see our delivery of it in the next week or so. The 1:4 2007 McLaren MP4/22 steering wheel replica (AML705) should follow a couple of weeks after that.
Amalgam also announced a new 1:8 release, of Kimi Raikkonen’s winning Ferrari F2007 from this year’s British Grand Prix (Product Code - AML710GB). Significantly, that is the first replica so far announced of the 2007 Ferrari in the new darker, almost metallic shade of red that the team used from the Monaco Grand Prix onwards.
Towards the end of the day Mattel provided us with an image of their 1:18 Elite Ferrari Mondial 8 release (Product Code - HW2987). This was a sample image rather than of the final model, so I think we are still a good few weeks away from receiving our delivery of it.
