We’ve had a bit of a 2004 Valentino Rossi extravaganza from Minichamps today. We have received their re-release of his 1:12 2004 Yamaha YZR-M1 (PO43046), which interestingly comes in the new Valentino Rossi Collection packaging, rather then the regular Minichamps box that the original release was presented in, as well as the 1:12 2004 sitting figure without sunglasses (PO49046), and the third release in the 1:8 Rossi Helmet Collection, his 2004 version (PO40846).

Speaking of Rossi, we are aware that he will be running a one-off livery this weekend at Philip Island, and as soon as there is any news about a replica of it, it will be posted in the diary.

Staying with two wheels, we now have in stock what has been one of our best ever selling 1:12 classic bikes, the Vincent Black Shadow (P134500).

Also on the Minichamps delivery was their extremely impressive 1:18 replica of Carroll Shelby’s winning Maserati Birdcage from the 1960 Riverside Sportscar Grand Prix (PG601298). The level of detail on the tubular chassis and the engine is fantastic. We are also offering this replica signed by Shelby (PG601298S), but you will have to wait a bit longer for that version.
