The 1:18 Mattel F1 Grid is Finished!
Woohoo! Today we received the rest of Mattel’s 1:18 2007 Formula One cars that hadn’t yet been released, meaning that we now have in stock Heikki Kovalainen’s Renault R27 (DC2704), Felipe Massa’s Ferrari F2007 and, best of all, Kimi Raikkonen’s Ferrari F2007 (DC2706)!
As we had forecast, the Ferraris have been released in the more orange shade of red that the team used in the first four races of the season, from the Australian Grand Prix until the Spanish Grand Prix. There is also no barcode on the Ferraris, again as we had previously said, as it is considered to be a Marlboro trademark. This doesn’t detract from Mattel’s replica any more than in previous years however, as the barcode has not been allowed to be replicated for some time.
