Keeping The Champions and Signatures Coming!

posted in Other Cars, Formula 1 |

Amalgam have been quick off the mark; they have already announced a 1:8 replica of Kimi Raikkonen’s victorious Ferrari F2007 from the Brazilian Grand Prix (AML710SP). This should be available just before Christmas.

We received a new signed replica into stock today; Jason returned from Nigel Mansell’s abode with the 1:18 Exoto carbon fibre Williams FW14B (GP97114S) signed by the 1992 World Champion.

Mattel also provided us with an image of their 1:18 Super Elite Ferrari 125 S (HW7118), so hopefully we should see that in a few weeks.

    hi leigh

wow great race on sunday. i think lack of teamwork cost mclaren title and then kimi stole it right from under their noses. go kimi!!! Anyway i wanted ask i you knew if mattel were going to do a 200th gp win special for ferrari. And if they are, who it will be kimi or massa. It would be nice to see that metallic red and all the new aero updates.

Mattel haven’t announced anything yet, but I would be amazed if they didn’t release a special to commemorate Ferrari’s 200th Grand Prix victory. It would have to be Raikkonen really, not because of my bias, but because he’s the guy who delivered the 200th win. I read somewhere though that with Massa finishing third in China as well, that was Ferrari’s 600th podium, so if that was the case maybe a 1:43 two car set of Raikkonen and Massa could be released to commemorate that. Anyone out there from Mattel reading this? You’re getting ideas for free!
