The only confirmed forthcoming releases in the F1 Champions Collection are Fittipaldi ‘74 (P744305), Hunt ‘76 (P764391), Piquet ‘83 (P830005), and Prost ‘86 (P860001). No more have been announced so far; I imagine some more will be confirmed at Toy Fair Time but it will be a good few years before this collection is completed.

Is the 1/43 ‘76 Hunt ‘with rain tyres’ part of the Minichamps’ ‘World Champions Collection’ ?
I’ve seen it advertised as such, but it’s Minichamps’ item code number is a different prefix from all the existing and announced models in this series.
Also, are you aware of any others (apart from the already announced ‘74, ‘83 & ‘86) that might be added to this collection ?

If there was going to be a decision to make the 1/18 2007 Honda and Red Bull after all, I would have expected it to have been announced before the end of the season. I can’t see them releasing these cars now unfortunately, as a 1/18 ‘Earth’ Honda would have looked absolutely incredible. It will be interesting to see which 2008 F1 cars Minichamps announce in 1/18.

The 1/43 MP4-98T?! Finally!!! All we need now is for Minichamps to announce when the 1/18 is out and that will make my 2007…

That will also make up for their decision not to make the RA107 or RB3 in 1/18 this year - do you think that Minichamps might make a u-turn on this decision?

I’m not sure, but it’s not unusual for ‘new’ models to creep onto Minichamps’ weekly release schedules once the original monthly release schedule has been released. The Rosberg, Wurz and Sato showcars are all now down to come in next week, with none of them having appeared on the original monthly release schedule.

Looking at Minichamps list, and also this weeks list, they put some f1’s on it, like the Wurz showcar. I can’t see the Rosberg showcar yet, but on their site they write ” Lieferbar”. Any ideas what has happened there…

I wouldn’t panic - 1/18 is still the second most popular scale out there and is still an extremely competitive market between the likes of Minichamps, AUTOart, Kyosho, Exoto, CMC, Mattel, Sun Star, Solido etc.

hi doesnt any manufacture like making 1/18 sclae models i personally only like collecting 1/18 scale
