Leigh’s Diecast Diary

As promised yesterday, today I can reveal the replicas that Minichamps have confirmed will not be in for Christmas this year. This list does not, of course, include any subjects that we already knew would be coming through in 2008 already, such as the Hamilton First Win specials or the Rossi Assen and Phillip Island bikes, for example.

Our website has now been updated with these changes and it obviously applies to any signed versions of these models too, if applicable. Just click below to see the releases that are at least one Christmas away……..

For those of you unfamiliar with the popular social networking site, Facebook (as I was until today!), it provides a home for anybody who has something to show or something to say, and wants an audience to get it across to. You can upload videos, photos, and chat with like-minded people who you may have never met before, but share a common interest with.

Today, an interesting new character called Diecast Leigh landed on Facebook. Can’t think who he can be! It’s an account we’ve set up so that we can upload photos of our favourite diecast replicas and hopefully have a look at some of your collections as well. We’ve even set up a couple of groups that you can join to showcase your diecast.

All you have to do is log on to Facebook.com and search for ‘Diecast Leigh’. You should find our account with Kimi Raikkonen’s 2007 Ferrari as our profile shot. You can even add ‘Diecast Leigh’ as a friend if you want to, and we’ll see if we can get a diecast community going.
