So……Quantum of Solace, How’s That For a Bond Title?

posted in Diecast, Other Cars, Formula 1 |

Today Minichamps confirmed the new items that we will see from them next week. There will finally be the 1:12 replica of Eddie Lawson’s 1989 Honda NSR 500 (P890001), along with Toni Elias’s 1:12 2006 Honda RC211V (PO61024).

In 1:18, we will at last see a Toro Rosso replica, Tonio Liuzzi’s 2006 STR1 (DC2620). Nothing too exciting in 1:43, save for the second shipments of Lewis Hamilton’s 2007 McLaren MP4/22 (DC27402) and the 1991 Mansell/Senna ‘Taxi’ from the British Grand Prix (P914305).

In other news, the title of the new James Bond film was officially confirmed today; ‘Quantum of Solace’. I’m a big fan of the films, although this doesn’t exactly sound like the most dynamic title of all time. New James Bond cars are always big sellers for us, although nothing has been confirmed about a replica of his steed from ‘Quantum of Solace’ as yet. Maybe we’ll hear something at the London Toy Fair next week.
