Thinking of Spending £100 On Hamilton 1/43s? Think Again…

posted in Diecast, Formula 1 |

Today’s entry is heavily Lewis Hamilton biased. We received Mattel’s 1:18 McLaren replica commemorating his first Grand Prix win in Montreal, complete with separate standing figure (DC2702MC).

Staying with Lewis, we now have a handful (and I mean just a handful) of 1:43 2006 test cars (DC26484) and 2007 showcars (DC27402P) available. We had a trade customer’s credit card decline, which has freed up a tiny number of each, and, unlike some unscrupulous retailers who are charging an extortionate £99.99 for each replica, are holding the original RRP of £24.99. As we have so few available these will be open to phone orders only, through our orderline on 0870 460 3456. You will have to be quick!

This is an enquiry to confirm that the “handful” of Lewis Hamilton 2006 test cars in 1;43 scale (DC26484)are now completely sold out. I only got the message from your diary dated Feb.25th yesterday and so phoned this morning in the vain attempt to secure one of these last remaining models.
Thats twice I’ve missed out on this hard to get car.
