Yes, ALL The Hayden 09 Laguna Seca Bikes Have Gone!

As predicted, within an hour of our phones going live this morning, we were completely pre-sold out of the Minichamps 1:12 Nicky Hayden 2009 Laguna Seca Ducati Desmosedici (PO90169)! The same goes for the signed version (PO90169S).

I haven’t known a week in the diecast industry like it, with so much hype and excitement generated by this 609 piece limited edition, just after the release of the Rossi Valencia paddock bike (PO73176) which was limited to just 3,999 examples, and an instant sell-out, and going for over £200 on Ebay at the weekend! I wonder if these sorts of instances are going to become more common in the coming months and years…

We received the new Spark delivery today, headlined by their latest couple of superb 1:43 classic Formula One cars. These were Jean-Pierre Beltoise’s 1971 Matra MS120 (SPK1604), and Jean-Pierre Jabouille’s 1979 Renault RS11 (SPK1704).

Spark also announced a couple of rather unusual new 1:43 subjects. The first of these is the Colibri sponsored offshore powerboat that Didier Pironi had his fatal accident in off the Isle of Wight in 1987 (SPK2302).

The second is the famous 1938 De Monte Bugatti Model 100 aeroplane from the Oshkosh Air Museum (SPK2300).

Staying with the aviation theme, we have had a lot of requests today as to whether we still have any left in stock of the Armour 1:48 replica of the Messerschmitt BF109 signed by the legendary fighter pilot Gunther Rall (AFM215S), who passed away recently. At the moment, we do still have some available.
