A Day Of Champions!
Today we received new announcements from Spark and Greenlight Collectibles, as well as a new delivery from Norev.
The most exciting news is that Spark has announced two F1 world champions that have never been replicated in 1:18 scale before: the Jim Clark 1965 Lotus 33 (SPA18S067), and the 1969 Matra MS80 of Jackie Stewart (SPA18S066).
Another bit of exciting news came from Greenlight Collectibles; they announced that they will be producing a special tribute version of the 1:18 2011 Dan Wheldon Dallara Indianapolis 500 winner (GL10926). The replica, by the way, will come without a driver figure.
Norev released two World Rally Champions today in the form of Sebastien Loeb’s 1:18 2009 Citroen C4 WRC from the Rally GB (NV181550), and the 1:18 Sebastien Loeb 2010 Citroen C4 WRC from the Rally of France (NV181551).
Other notable releases from Norev include the 1:18 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV China Edition (NV187964), the 1:18 1968 Mercedes 300SL in black (NV183511) and the 1:43 Sebastien Ogier 2010 Citroen DS3 R3 from the Rallye du Var.
