AUTOart Goes Touring Car Crazy!
Today we received our last AUTOart delivery of the year.
Given how few of them we see these days, we were taken aback by how many touring car subjects arrived.
Best picks were undoubtedly the 1:18 Nicola Larini Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI DTM Champion (AA89303), and its sister car the 1:18 1993 Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI driven by Alessandro Nannini (AA89304).
Sticking with DTM, we have the 1:18 Team Schnitzer BMW M3 that Johnny Cecotto drove during the 1992 season (AA89246). There were also two plain bodied versions of the 1:18 BMW M3 DTM in black (AA89247) and white (AA89045).
It’s rare to receive a 1:43 subject from AUTOart these days, so we were pleased to see the BMW 635 CSI that Hans Stuck and Dieter Quester drove in the 1984 ETCC (AA68445).
The top road car, for us, was the 1:18 1967 Toyota 2000 GT cabriolet in white (AA78736).
