Today we received new deliveries from Minichamps and Spark.
The highlight of the Minichamps consignment was undoubtedly the 1:43 2010 Red Bull RB6 Constructors’ Champions two car set (DC210405C2). Other notable releases included the 1:43 1960 Bentley Continental S2 cabriolet in blue (P139960), the 1:18 2006 Bentley Continental GTC in white (PG139032), and the 1:12 1978 Honda CB900F ‘Bol D’Or’ in blue (P161900).
The Spark delivery covered almost all the major disciplines of motorsport; a touring car release would have made it a clean sweep! Modern F1 subjects took the form of the 1:43 2012 Timo Glock Marussia MR01 from the 2012 Chinese Grand Prix (DC212424), the 1:43 2012 Charles Pic Marussia MR01 from the 2012 Chinese Grand Prix (DC212425), and the 1:43 Kamui Kobayashi 2012 Sauber C31 from the Monaco Grand Prix (DC212414K).
We received just one classic F1 car: Kenny Acheson’s 1985 RAM 03 S4T from the 1985 Austrian Grand Prix (SPK1729).
Away from single seaters, Spark sent us the Mini Cooper WRC that was driven by Armindo Araujo in the 2012 Monte Carlo Rally (SPK3351), and the #50 Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 that was victorious in the LMGTE AM class at Le Mans in 2012 (SPK3733). It was driven by Pedro Lamy, Julien Canal and Patrick Bornhauser.
