Bizarre’s 2013 Announcements Now Online

posted in Diecast, Other Cars |

We now have every single one of Bizarre’s 2013 announcements on our website.

Bizarre is a brand that, over the years, has strayed from its original plan of offering collectors unusual replicas of road and racing machinery.

With this new set of announcements, however, Bizarre has refocussed, and has gone back to producing the weird, whacky, and downright ridiculous!

Of course Bizarre is probably most well known for its 1:43 Land Speed Record subjects, and there were plenty in this new set of announcements. Highlights included Henry Segrave’s 1929 Golden Arrow (BZ1008), the Duesenberg that Tommy Milton took to a new Land Speed Record in 1920 (BZ1009), and Kaye Don’s Silver Bullet from 1930 (BZ1010).

Perhaps the most exciting replica was the 1:43 Ari Vatanen 1988 Peugeot 405 T16, which famously won the 1988 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (BZ1017). There was also the 1:43 Rod Millen Toyota Celica AWD Turbo from the 1993 running of the Pikes Peak Hill Climb (BZ1015).

If you’re after something truly unusual then take a look at the 1:43 1977 Panther 6 in black (BZ1012), the 1:43 1933 Dymaxion Buckminster Fuller (BZ1014), or the 1:43 2012 Can-Am Spyder (BZ1026).
