July AUTOart Delivery Finally Arrives

posted in Diecast, Other Cars, Formula 1 |

After a bit of a delay, July’s AUTOart delivery has finally come through our warehouse door; with one day to spare!

It was more than worth the wait, however. In fact, it’s the most impressive consignment we’ve had from AUTOart in a while.

The 1:18 Sebastian Vettel Red Bull X2010 from Gran Turismo 5 (AA18108) looks absolutely brilliant. It also comes with an opening cockpit canopy, and working steering.

Then there was the 1:18 1961 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 Coupe in red (AA73614) and cream (AA73614), as well as the 1:43 Signature Collection replica of the 1955 Le Mans 24 Hours winning Jaguar D-Type as driven by Mike Hawthorn and Ivor Bueb (AA65586).

Two other absolutely stunning 1:18 replicas included the Alfa Romeo 33 TT 12 that Arturo Merzario and Jacques Laffite drove to victory in the 1975 Monza 1000km (AA87504), and the 1975 Spa 1000km winning Alfa Romeo 33 TT 12 of Derek Bell and Henri Pescarolo (AA87503).

These Alfas are approaching CMC levels of intricacy and detail.

Other interesting 1:18 replicas included James Dean’s 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster (AA77865), the 1992 Honda NSX Type R in white, and the 1974 Lamborghini Countach LP400 in orange (AA74647).
