The Missing Williams Is Finally Here!

posted in Diecast, Other Cars, Formula 1 |

Today we received another sizeable delivery from Spark. The good news for Williams fans is that Spark has released a 1:43 replica of Rubens Barrichello’s Williams FW32 from the 2010 Spanish Grand Prix (DC210409). You may remember Minichamps announced this model originally, and then took the decision to cancel it. Spark then stepped up to the plate, and has now filled that gaping hole on Williams collectors’ shelves.

Spark also sent us several other 1:43 F1 replicas. Pick of the bunch was the BRM P261 that Graham Hill took to victory in the 1964 Monaco Grand Prix (SPK1156). There was also Pedro de la Rosa’s Hispania F112 from the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix (DC212422), the McLaren M2B that Bruce McLaren took to sixth in the 1966 British Grand Prix (SPK3094, the team’s first ever points), and another Reve Collection 1983 Stefan Johansson Spirit 201C (SPKR70254) This particular car was from the European Grand Prix.

Other highlights included the 1:18 Gianpiero Moretti Porsche 935/78 from the Norisring in 1981 (SPA18S055) and the 1:43 Michal Kosciuszko 2013 Mini Cooper WRC from the Monte Carlo Rally (SPK3362).

In other news, MR announced a 1:18 replica of the 2013 Lamborghini Egoista (MR013B), and Look Smart announced the 1:43 Ferrari Dino 166P/206P in red (LS422).
