Our First TrueScale Delivery In A While

posted in Diecast, Other Cars, Formula 1 |

Today TrueScale Miniatures sent us a new delivery; we reckon it’s our first since May!

The big news is that, after a couple of delays, TrueScale has finally released its 1:18 Emerson Fittipaldi Lotus 56B from the 1971 Italian Grand Prix (TSM111804). This fantastic model has certainly been worth the wait. It comes with removable bodywork, and you can detach all four wheels. We reckon that this is the first time a Pratt &Whitney turbine engine has been recreated in 1:18 scale.

They also sent us a 1:18 resin replica of Bob Wollek’s 1981 Porsche 935 K4 from the DRM (TSM111808), the Queen’s 1960 Rolls-Royce Phantom V Canberra from 1960 (TSM114314) in 1:43, and the 1:43 metallic orange McLaren P1 (with wing down), which was on display at the 2012 Paris Motor Show (TSM134320).
