The Difference Is Night And Day

posted in Diecast, Other Cars, Formula 1 |

At the moment, Spark is putting the rest of the model industry to shame. They release as much as Minichamps did years ago - between 10 and 20 replicas a week - and their range is sensational.

The highlight of today’s Spark delivery was the 1:43 #97 Aston Martin Vantage GTE that Peter Dumbreck, Stefan Mucke and Darren Turner drove in the 2013 Le Mans 24 Hours (SPK201397). This particular machine was adorned in gorgeous ‘Art Car’ style night and day livery.

We also think that the 1:43 2013 Caterham CT03s of Charles Pic (DC213420K) and Giedo van der Garde (DC213421K) look fantastic, as does the 1:43 replica of the #1 Toyota 94C-V that finished second in the 1994 Le Mans 24 Hours in the hands of Eddie Irvine, Mauro Martini and Jeff Krosnoff (SPK1378).

We received one 1:18 replica on the delivery: the Audi R8 LMS that Craig Lowndes, Rod Salmon and Warren Luff drove in the 2013 Bathurst 12 Hours (SPA18AS005). This Australian market special edition is limited to 300 pieces worldwide.
