Spark Releases McLaren’s McLaren Just In Time!

posted in Diecast, Other Cars, Formula 1 |

Today we received an absolutely cracking new Spark delivery.

They were cutting it fine releasing their 1:18 replica of the McLaren M7A that Bruce McLaren took to victory in the 1968 Belgian Grand Prix (SPA18S065). Just a couple more weeks and this car, which was the team’s first ever grand prix winner, would have missed out on being released during McLaren’s 50th anniversary year.

There were some other great 1:18s on the delivery too, such as the Lotus E21 that Kimi Raikkonen took to victory in the 2013 Australian Grand Prix (DC21307K), and the DeltaWing Nissan that Marino Franchitti, Michael Krumm and Satoshi Motoyama drove in the 2012 Le Mans 24 Hours (SPA18S100).

In the smaller scale we received, amongst others, the 2013 Le Mans winning Audi R18 e-tron quattro of Allan McNish, Tom Kristensen and Loic Duval (SPA43LM13), Jim Clark’s Lotus 30 from the Riverside 200 Miles (SPK2187), and the 1935 Morgan Super Sports in dark green (SPK3148).
