75 1:43 Classic F1 Announcements From Spark

posted in Diecast, Formula 1 |

For us, one of the highlights of the new announcements season is Spark’s classic F1 cars. This year, the resin brand has announced some 75 new subjects.

One of our particular favourites is the Lotus 43 BRM that Jim Clark drove to victory in the 1966 United States Grand Prix (SPK2143).

There’s the March 711 that Niki Lauda drove in his grand prix debut at the 1971 Austrian Grand Prix (SPK3379), the Andrea Moda S921 that Roberto Moreno miraculously qualified for the 1992 Monaco Grand Prix (SPK3892), and the unusual Eifelland-March that Rolf Stommelen drove in the 1972 German Grand Prix (SPK3383).

If you’re a fan of the British drivers then you’ll find plenty of interest, including the BRM P261 that Graham Hill took to victory at Monaco in 1965 (SPK1858), the Lola Mk.4 that John Surtees drove to second in the 1962 German Grand Prix (SPK1815), and John Watson’s 1976 Austrian Grand Prix winning Penske PC4 (SPK3370).
