Corgi Reveals Its Spring Announcements

Today Corgi announced over 40 new subjects, and we received a new delivery from Minichamps.

There was certainly plenty of interest as far as the Corgi announcements are concerned. First off, the brand will producing its excellent value for money 1:43 F1 cars again this year. You can choose from the Lotus E22s of Romain Grosjean (CG57201) and Pastor Maldonado (CG57202), as well as the McLaren MP4-29s of Jenson Button (CG57301) and Kevin Magnussen (CG57302).

The British company has been producing modern Lotuses for a while. They have now confirmed their first 1:43 classic Lotus: the 1976 Lotus Esprit S1 (chassis 0100G) in Signal red (CG57101), which is the first production Esprit.

They have also obtained a Bentley licence, which means they’re going to replicate, in 1:43, the Bentley Continental GT3 (CG56901), and the brand’s latest road car, the Bentley Continental GT V8 S (CG57001).

Formula One and Moto GP both featured heavily in the Minichamps delivery. We received the 1:12 2011 Ducati Desmosedici GP11s of Randy de Puniet (PO110014), Loris Capirossi (PO110065) and Hector Barbera (PO110008).

The 1:43 Nico Rosberg 2013 Mercedes F1 W04 (DC213409), the 1:43 Jenson Button 2013 McLaren MP4-28 (DC213405), and the 1:43 Sergio Perez 2013 Mclaren MP4-28 (DC213406), also arrived today.
