Spark Releases Loeb’s Pikes Peak Peugeot!

posted in Diecast, Other Cars, Formula 1 |

Today we received some 17 new 1:43 resin replicas from Spark.

There was some brilliant stuff on this delivery, with the Peugeot 208 T16 that Sebastien Loeb used to win the Pikes Peak Hill Climb (SPK3783) being the highlight.

Spark also released the third subject in its fantastic Indy 500 winners collection: Johnny Rutherford’s Chaparral from 1980 (SPA43IN80).

Porsche collectors will be delighted to hear that we received the Porsche 911 RSR that won the LMGTE Pro class at Le Mans last year in the hands of Marc Lieb, Richard Lietz and Romain Dumas (SPK201392). This victory was made even more special by the fact that 2013 marked the 50th anniversary of the 911.

Didier Pironi’s 1980 Tyrrell 010 from the Belgian Grand Prix (SPK1883) and the McLaren M2B that was driven by Bruce McLaren in the 1966 Mexican Grand Prix (SPK3121) were the best of the classic F1 cars.

For those after something a bit more up to date, there are the Lotus E21s that Romain Grosjean (DC213408TK) and Heikki Kovalainen (DC213407TK) raced in last year’s United States Grand Prix.
