Trains And Lorries From Corgi

posted in Diecast |

Today we received a new delivery from Corgi, which consisted of two trains and four lorries.

Our best selling subject was a 1:120 replica of Tornado (CG97901), the Peppercorn Class A1 locomotive that was built between 1994 and 2008. The other train on the delivery was the Britannia Class that was named Black Prince (CG97705).

Corgi also released all three subjects in its 1:50 Classic Trucks with the Hauliers of Renown Heritage Collection. There’s the Guy Warrior 8 Wheel Platform Lorry as used by the Redpath Bros Ltd (CG11705), Munro Transport’s AEC Mammoth Major Mk.V 8 Wheel Platform Lorry (CG11510), and the Entress Transport Ltd Leyland Octopus 8 Wheel Platform Lorry (CG10605). All three are limited to just 750 pieces worldwide.

The Scania R Nooteboom Step Frame Trailer as used by Eddie Stobart Rail (CG13745) was the only modern lorry that arrived from Corgi today.
