Spark Releases 1:18 Stewart 1969 Matra

posted in Road Cars, Resin, Formula 1 |

We received one of the biggest releases of the year today, as Spark delivered the 1:18 Jackie Stewart Matra MS80 from the 1969 French Grand Prix (SPA18S066). As we’ve no doubt already mentioned, this is an F1 World Champion that, until now, has never been replicated in 1:18 before. Supply is tight on this Spark 1:18 replica, so don’t delay for too long if you’re after one.

Of course, in a few weeks, we will be meeting up with Sir Jackie so that he can sign a limited edition of just 150 examples of this replica (SPA18S066S) exclusively for us. We have already pre-sold over two thirds of that number, so place an order ASAP if you don’t want to miss out on this unique opportunity.

In other news, we received nine new 1:43 replicas from TrueScale Miniatures. Our favourite release was the Bentley Continental GT3 from the 2012 Paris Motor Show (TSM134301). TrueScale is the first brand to release this fantastic looking car in any scale.

Other highlights included the McLaren MP4/5 that won the 1989 Japanese Grand Prix in the hands of Ayrton Senna (TSM124331), and the pretty 1967 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale Prototype (TSM124308).
