SuperSwede Stars On TrueScale Delivery

Today we received a large consignment from TrueScale, our first from them in a good couple of months it has to be said.

If you’re a fan of cult hero Ronnie Peterson, then you have been well and truly spoilt. The highlight was the 1:18 Lotus 78 that Peterson took to victory in the 1978 South African Grand Prix (TSM121802), after famously battling with Patrick Depailler.

This model, which is limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide, comes with all the removable bits and pieces that you would expect from a TrueScale 1:18 classic F1 replica.

In the smaller scale, there was Peterson’s 1973 Italian Grand Prix winning Lotus 72E (TSM124325), and the March 761 that he raced in the 1976 United States West Grand Prix (TSM124327). On top of all that, TrueScale released a 1:8 Ronnie Peterson 1978 helmet (TSM12AC06) too.

Other highlights included a 1:18 replica of the Chevrolet Corvette that John Greenwood and Bernard Darniche drove in the 1976 Le Mans 24 Hours (TSM111810B), and several racing and road going McLarens, including the McLaren P1 that Jenson Button demonstrated at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed (TSM144338).
