2014 McLarens and Red Bulls From Spark

Today we received 17 new 1:43 replicas from Spark, including four more of this year’s F1 cars.

Spark sent us the McLaren MP4-29s of Jenson Button (DC214422K) and Kevin Magnussen (DC214420K), as well as the Red Bull RB10s of Daniel Ricciardo (DC214403K) and Sebastian Vettel (DC214401K).

These were joined by a really nice replica of the Williams FW36 test car of Valtteri Bottas (DC214477TK), which looks excellent in its dark blue paint job.

The best of the classic F1 releases were Luis Perez-Sala’s Minardi M189 from the 1991 British Grand Prix (SPK4111), and the Surtees TS14 that Tim Schenken drove in the 1972 United States Grand Prix (SPK4001).

Other highlights included the 1987 Aston Martin Zagato Vantage Volante in red (SPK2158), and the first subject in Spark’s Pikes Peak Hillclimb Collection: Rod Millen’s 1994 Toyota Celica Super Sport Turbo (SPA43PP94).
