Intriguing New Announcements From AUTOart

Today AUTOart announced three new replicas, and we received new models from Mattel and Kyosho.

AUTOart is introducing a new range of replicas, which will feature bodyshells that are made up of a mixture of plastic and diecast. Admittedly, we don’t know yet exactly how they are made, but we think that anything that brings prices down is good in our opinion.

The models will have opening parts, but in some cases it will only be the doors. Anyway, it will be interesting to see how they go down with collectors when they are released.

Most excitingly, AUTOart will be using this new method to produce a 1:18 2013 Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 in white (AA81307). Hopefully AUTOart will go on to make several racing versions of this car. There will also be the 1:18 Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2 in matt white (AA81358) and metallic orange (AA81357). They look pretty good from the sample images, so check them out.

Mattel released an excellent 1:18 model of the Batmobile from the 1992 movie, Batman Returns (HWBLY24), which comes with plenty of working features.

We also received nine 1:43 Porsche replicas from Kyosho, all of which come with an opening bonnet and boot. You can choose from the 1975 Porsche 911 Turbo in green (KY05524G) and silver (KY05524S), the 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera RS in white (KY05521W) and silver (KY05521S), the 1978 Porsche 911 SC in red (KY05523R) and silver (KY05523S), and the 1988 Porsche 911 3.3 Turbo in white (KY05525W), dark blue (KY05525DB) and silver (KY05525S).
