New Models From Spark and Corgi

Today we received new batch 1:43 replicas from Spark, as well as a couple of new releases from Corgi.

Of the 14 subjects on the Spark delivery, the highlight was the 1993 Light Car Company Rocket in red (SPK3152), which was designed by Gordon Murray.

There were a couple of classic F1 cars too: the Lola Mk.4 that John Surtees took to second in the 1962 German Grand Prix (SPK1815), and Guy Ligier’s Cooper T81 Maserati from the 1966 Monaco Grand Prix (SPK3517).

Other notables from Spark included the Lotus XI that Colin Chapman and Herbert MacKay-Fraser drove in the 1956 Le Mans 24 Hours (SPK2183), and the Honda TN360 that was used by Essex Team Lotus (SPK2688), which comes complete with a miniature DFV engine to put in the back of it.

From Corgi, we received an impressive 1:32 Hawker Hurricane Mk.I P2970 that was flown by Geoffrey Page (CG35509). The replica comes with a detailed engine, a retractable undercarriage, and has a wingspan of 39 centimetres.

This was joined by the 1:43 Ford Cortina Mk.3 2000E in Modena Green (CG10310).
