New Arrivals From Spark and Minichamps

Today we received new models from both Spark and Minichamps.

Spark sent us 16 new subjects, with the highlight being a stunning 1:18 model of the Lancia LC2 that Mauro Baldi and Bob Wollek drove to victory in the 1985 Spa 1000km (SPA18SB001). This is the first time this iconic Group C racer has ever been replicated in the larger scale.

This was joined by two cars, in 1:43, from the 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours: the GTE AM class winning Aston Martin Vantage GTE of Kristian Poulsen, David Heinemeier Hansson and Nicki Thiim (LM201495), and the OAK Racing Ligier Nissan JSP2 of Alex Brundle, Jann Mardenborough and Mark Shulzhitskiy (LM201435).

For McLaren collectors, there was the 1:43 McLaren M4B that Bruce McLaren drove in the 1967 Race of Champions (SPK3137).

The highlight from the Minichamps delivery was the 1:43 2014 Jenson Button Mclaren MP4-29 test car (DC214422T). The Magnussen version, by the way, has already sold out, and there aren’t many left of the Button version either.

Other interesting replicas included the 1:43 Hans Stuck Auto Union Type B from the 1935 German Grand Prix (P351900), and the 1:18 1948 Land Rover in Matt Sand (PG168905).
