Jack Brabham’s Last Grand Prix Winner From Spark

posted in Endurance, Resin, Formula 1 |

We received an excellent new delivery from Spark today, which consisted of some 17 new models.

The most significant subject was the 1:43 Jack Brabham 1970 Brabham BT33 from the South African Grand Prix (SPK3508), which was the scene of the Australian’s final grand prix victory.

Other interesting 1:43 classic single seater releases include the Lotus 69 that Graham Hill drove in the French Formula Two Trophy race at Paul Ricard in 1970 (SPK2146), the McLaren M4B raced by Bruce McLaren in the 1967 Monaco Grand Prix (SPK3138) and Clay Regazzoni’s Shadow DN8 from the 1978 International Trophy at Silverstone (SPK3833).

We also received our first modern Porsche prototype racer: the 1:43 Porsche 919 Hybrid that Romain Dumas, Neel Jani and Marc Lieb drove in the 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours (LM201414). This was joined by the 1:43 Toyota TS030 that finished third at Le Mans this year in the hands of Anthony Davidson, Nicolas Lapierre and Sebastien Buemi (LM201408).
