Matrix And Corgi Deliveries Arrive

Today we received new models from resin brand Matrix and bargain diecast manufacturers Corgi.

The highlight of the Matrix delivery was the 1:43 1967 Alvis 3-Litre Super Graber Coupe in blue (MX40105021).

They also sent us three very nice coachbuilt British classics: the 1:43 1937 Bentley 4.25 Litre Pillarless Saloon by Carlton (MX40201061), the 1:43 Gurney Nutting Tourer Rolls-Royce 25/30 hp that was owned by the Maharaja of Darbhanga (MX41705111) and the 1:43 1953  Daimler DB18 Hooper Green Goddess (MX10402021).

Corgi released a 1:43 replica of the Lotus Esprit S1 1976 ‘Chassis 0100G’ (CG57101) the first production Esprit, which is a bargain for just £24.99. It’s even better value when you consider this tidy little number comes with pop up headlights too.

They also sent us, in 1:43 scale, Richard Longman’s Mini 1275GT from the 1979 British Saloon Car Champion (CG13503), and the 1:43 Vauxhall Carlton Mk.2 2.0 CDX in Smoke Grey (CG14000).
