IXO Beats Spark To Release Hyundai i20 WRC

posted in Rallying, Touring Cars, Diecast |

Today we received a new delivery from IXO, as well as a solitary new release from Minichamps.

Usually it’s resin brand Spark that beats diecast manufacturers to market with new F1, rally or Le Mans cars, but today there was an exception to this rule, as IXO became the first brand to release the Hyundai i20 WRC in 1:43 scale. More specifically, we’re talking about the Hyundai i20 WRC that Thierry Neuville drove in the 2014 Monte Carlo Rally (RAM568).

Other 1:43 highlights on the delivery included Robert Kubica’s WRC2 class winning Citroen DS3 RRC from the 2013 Rally of Germany (RAM539), and the Jaguar Mk.VII that Stirling Moss drove to victory in the 1953 Silverstone Touring Car Race (RAC238).

Meanwhile, Minichamps delivered a 1:43 replica of Nico Rosberg’s 2014 Australian Grand Prix winning Mercedes F1 W05 (DC214406).
