Over 20 New Releases from Spark

posted in Endurance, Resin, Formula 1 |

We’ve received a mammoth new delivery of over 20 new replicas from Spark today. There’s such a wide variety of subjects present; everything from classic and modern F1 machinery, endurance racers, road cars, a rally car, and even a NASCAR and a couple of IndyCars.

We love all things Stirling Moss here at Diecast Legends, so we’re very pleased to see the 1:43 Aston Martin DB3S that Stirling Moss and Peter Collins drove to second at Le Mans in 1956 (SPK2409).

In terms of other 1:43 round-the-clock racers Spark has also released the Bentley Embiricos as it raced in the 1950 Le Mans 24 Hours in the hands of H.S.F. Hay and Hugh Hunter (SPK3818), and the 2014 Spa 24 Hours winning Audi R8 LMS of Laurens Vanthoor, Rene Rast and Markus Winkelhock (SPKSB071).

It’s all about Red Bull in the modern F1 stakes, with Spark delivering both its Vettel (DC21401K) and Ricciardo (DC21403K) 1:18s, as well as Ricciardo’s winning RB10s from Canada (DC214403CK) and Belgium (DC214403BK) in 1:43.

Interesting classic 1:43 F1 cars included the Copersucar FD03 that was raced by Arturo Merzario in the 1975 Italian Grand Prix (SPK3935), Alex Caffi’s 1991 San Marino Grand Prix Footwork FA12 (SPK3981) and the Brabham BT33 that Rolf Stommelen drove in the 1970 French Grand Prix (SPK3509).
